Warranty Information

• Gen 1 -1.4 Turbo Lifetime Warranty 

I will offer a lifetime warranty; as long as Super Cruzes is in business and we are still offering turbos, you will have coverage. I offer 2 versions of coverage. They are both lifetime and have different ranges of warranty. 

• Basic use lifetime warranty: 

This coverage is for a customer who wants more power, but they do not intend on pushing their car to the limits. This will cover whichever turbo you choose this coverage for. This will cover the original purchaser from any manufacturer defects. If a turbo goes bad you must send the turbo into Super Cruzes for us to take a look at it. You must always run recommended engine oil meant for this turbo and the engine. You must perform your oil changes with in 5,000 Mi intervals. You must provide your Vehicle Identification Number.  You must have your vehicle tuned by Super Cruzes. You must have an OEM or Aftermarket wastegate that has been adjusted and built by Super Cruzes. You must have an OE or aftermarket diverter from Super Cruzes or from the OE Manufacturer. You must never run a Crackle type of tune or 2 step on your car. You obviously have the right to do anything you wish with any turbo you own but if you intend on being covered for years and years the turbo needs to be respected.  If you wish to do any crazy type of things with your car and run your engine, or turbo hard I have another type of lifetime warranty for that. • Heavy duty hazard warranty coverage

This coverage is for the person who likes to push their car and turbo hard. This coverage is for people who like things like 2 step or crackle tunes. If you choose this one you will be covered for anything you throw at the turbo charger under the engines normal operation. BUT I refuse to allow intentional damages. I will make a list of things that are covered and not covered. (This may be subject to change in the future)

• What is covered. 

If you have a bad air fuel ratio from running a custom tune 

If you overheated your engine and in turn overheated the turbo 

If you run a crackle tune 

You can use any tuner you wish but they must provide data showing a good air fuel ratio during part throttle driving and full throttle driving if you use a Super Cruzes tune this does not matter.  If you do not know why this is important then please learn. Simply put if your air fuel ratio is incorrect you can damage an engine very fast or even cause premature failure to an engine. A bad air fuel ratio can make an engine deigned to last 100,000 miles fail in less then 10,000 miles. So this is very important to pay attention to.  

If you run your OEM wastegate, a custom wastegate or a brand meant for a different car you will be covered.  

• Things that are not covered. 

This covers a turbo from turbo failure. This does not cover the turbo from accident damage, fire damage, flood damages and hail damage. If you do something like shoot a piston out the side of your engine block and damage the turbo that is not covered under this warranty but I will fix the turbo for you and there will be a service charge. If you purchase a Basic use lifetime warranty and have a turbo fail but we see signs of 2 step or crackle tune being used this will void the warranty. If you wanted to run those types of tunes you should purchase the Heavy duty hazard warranty coverage.
