This computer system will allow you to keep your OEM Mylink radio and upgrade it to run apps and car play.
I worked with a company years ago to help test a prototype. And develop a system that will work in my equinox. I recently tested this system in a few cars that run the my link and it works perfectly. Shown here is my old Equinox.
OK here goes. I used to have an equinox that I was building for my YouTube channel with paddle shifters, brembos calipers, custom wheels, supercharger. I worked with a company to become a dealer for a computer system that updates the my link radio to basically the gen 2 cruze version of apple and android car play. At the time I did not own a gen 1 CRUZE. But I'm still a dealer and still have the original prototype designs and can get the newer versions of this system. I stopped caring about equinox upgrades because the equinox community didn't really care about upgrades. They mostly cared about better MPG and complaining about equinox's. I forgot I even did this. I even filmed and scrapped a whole video series on the equinox. BUT I forgot I still kept all of my parts from that build. Meaning now that I started offering gen 1 CRUZE parts I forgot I can also offer this computer system. It works on any Mylink powered radio system with a touch screen. It's a computer system that integrates into the touch screen and allows you to run a system that allows use of downloading apps running your navigation and allows you to clone your phone onto the screen so you can use blue tooth, send messages, read messages out loud. It allows use of any mapp software you have on your phone. It does a lot that I can eventually post more info on. What I really wanted to do was show that it's a real product and see how many people may be interested in a factory type of upgrade. I don't remember as of the time I'm writing this post the total cost of this system but its a full computer system that requires no programing. Just install and you can access the upgraded software the same day. If memory serves this was a $550-$750 upgrade. Is this something the CRUZE community would want?
