How to check your intake
Almost 9 out of every 10 cruzes had a faulty PCV system. A good way to check if your car has a broken intake manifold is to remove the 3/4 tube off of the intake heading down to the turbo. If you look inside the hole you can see if the orange check valve fell off. If you do not see the orange check valve your intake is broken! You can simply install one of the PCV fix kits and save your intake manifold.
Catch can kit
This is a picture of the catch can system in place with the catch can mounting cup installed next to the air box. This image was submitted by Tyler Christopher. He ordered a full kit from me with the PCV fix and I decided to offer some colored hoses to him as an upgrade along with a custom can and mount. The mount is designed to install in this location in a pre-existing hole. The cup and bracket are now adjustable.

Here is a pic of the kit installed. This was submitted by Billy S. Shown in the picture is the complete system with the catch can/oil separator, adjustable custom bracket, PCV fit kit and the hoses needed to install the entire system on a Gen 1 CRUZE/Sonic.
What's included
This kit comes with a custom cup designed to hold the catch can in place and make draining the can section much easier. It can be removed by simply lifting up on it. The kit comes with oil resistant hose as well as all needed clamps and elbow. The gen 1 cruze kit also comes with the Andrea Poppi PCV fix kit included. This is a full PCV fix with a catch can system. Andre from www.cruzekits.com worked with me to develop a working PVC fix kit that can be integrated into my catch can system.

V3.4+ PCV Fix Kit
This fix kit addresses the intake manifold check valve failure on the GM 1.4L Turbo LUV/LUJ and eliminates the need to replace your intake manifold. This kit has been improved and proven since 2019 and uses a number of custom designed fittings, check valves, and hardware.

V3.4+ PCV Fix Kit
The new V3 check valve location is right by the T fitting. This allows the check valve to sit at an angled orientation, which prevents accumulation inside the valve, keeping it cleaner and improving the service life of the valve. Be sure the arrow on the check valve is pointing away from the T fitting. Hose between check valve and T fitting should be 2 inches long.
